As you must know by now, GDPR came into effect on 25th May 2018. It stands for General Data Protection Regulation and is the European Union’s new legislation regarding EU citizens’ Personal Data in the jurisdiction of the EU.
At long last, some sense of security
Minsh from its very first apps in 2013 has always been about privacy. After all, why would you want to get your own private messaging app, if not to safeguard your and your users’ privacy, as well as making sure your data won’t be analyzed, used, sold, or shared without your knowing?
At last, GDPR provides some sense of security to EU citizens, whether they’re sharing personal information with giant evil social media sites from the US (no, I won’t tell you which ones I’m thinking about), or using services from smaller, more ethic companies.
As of May 25th, 2018, EU citizens can sleep soundly: every organization has to abide by the GDPR.
So, how does Minsh comply?
We have always, and keep on reviewing our processes on a regular basis to ensure that Minsh and the Data Processors we’re working with are respecting the fundamental right to privacy of all Minsh App users.
You can find out more about GDPR and how we abide by it in this GDPR FAQ and get the answers to a list of technical and legal questions you may have in this Minsh Processes FAQ.
